. Gause academy culinary students made hand-poured
chocolates to sell in novelty shapes such as long-stemmed roses, to raise funds for the ConKerr cancer organization to purchase
fabric to make pillowcases for children suffering from cancer in area hospitals.
Gause Academy FCCLA plans to continue to support ConKerr cancer with fund-raising and by making pillowcases for children in area
hospitals. Conkerr cancer distributes approximately 300 pillowcases a month to area hospitals for children with cancer and other
life-threatening illnesses. To donate cotton fabrics or funds for this cause, please contact
at Gause Academy of Leadership and Technology in Bartow.
