December 7, 2007 (Shawn Meeks, Writer):
The Eagles soccer team is still undefeated during regular season play. With recent ties to Lake Gibson and Auburndale, plus wins over Ridge, Winter Haven, and Liberty the Eagle's total record for this year is 10/1/3 with a division record of 3/0/2. The team is now preparing for the Auburndale rematch next Tuesday that will most likely decide the division champions. Please come out and support the team.

November 27, 2007 (Shawn Meeks, Writer):
So far this season, the boys varsity soccer team has a record of 7/1/1 with a tie to Berkley Prep 0-0 in the season, a loss to Tampa Jesuit 1-0 in overtime of the Sarasota High School Thanksgiving Classic tournament, and wins over Lakeland HS, Frostproof HS, Bartow HS, Lake Wales HS, Palmetto HS, Mariner HS, and Mulberry HS. With only 4 goals allowed in the 8 games so far, this years team shows a strong defense and remains undefeated in the regular season entering the game against rival Auburndale HS tonight at 7:30.

Junior Varsity is off to a strong start with a 3/0/0 record against Bartow HS, Lake Wales HS, and Mulberry HS.

Last night, the boy's varsity team beat the previously undefeated Mulberry HS team 6-1. Jake Gregory had 2-goals, Alex Riddle had 1-goal, Tanner Adams had 1-goal, Chris Hawks had 1-goal and Christian Moore had 1-goal.
